About Beck&Call Events

Founded in 2015

Kaylon Benai Beck got her start at the University of Houston where she was thrown into the fast paced world of hospitality. She embraced her time at the Conrad N. Hilton College for Hotel and Restaurant Management by participating in clubs and numerous events in addition to her schooling. She was the Treasurer for National Society for Minorities in Hospitality and the Collegiate 100 Women. Kaylon was a member of both The Challenger Program and Project GRAD, as well as the Special Operations Chef for the exclusive and exquisite dining experience Gourmet Night, an annual tradition hosted by Hilton College students. Kaylon has had numerous internships, including one that took her all the way to Alaska to work for Aramark’s McKinley Village Lodge, but it wasn’t until her time with Chic Soiree Weddings & Events that her passion for events was born. She even spent time working with Music World Properties which consisted of Music World Studios, House of Dereon, and The Rice Mansion all owned by Matthew Knowles. Currently, event planning is a hobby of Kaylon’s, but soon she plans to see it grow into something much more. She hopes someday that her personal business will expand to help fund more of her entrepreneurial ventures such as a boutique hotel or bed and breakfast in her community of Third Ward Houston, Texas. As a recent Howard University MBA graduate, Kaylon’s passion for her community, entrepreneurship, and hospitality is obvious, just take a look at her work!
