Transport your guests to the Alps with Ben's Raclette! Since 2023, Ben Piscopo has specialized in serving crispy, melted Alpine cheese scraped onto fresh baguette with seasonal accompaniments right in front of guests. Ben was raised in New England’s snowy mountains with a deep appreciation for Alpine cuisine. After visiting his grandmother’s birthplace in Switzerland, he sought to capture the essence of visiting the Alps through a decadent food experience. He makes sure that every bite of raclette is a true taste of the Alps. En Guete! (Bon appétit!) As an owner-operated business, you'll receive Ben's undivided attention and dedication to every detail. This means uncommon flexibility around timing, locations, and accompaniments. We import full wheels of artisanal cheese directly from the French and Swiss Alps, where the traditional methods of production have been perfected over centuries. We use traditional Swiss melters, just like those found in the mountain chalets of the Alps, to create the perfect melt every time.

(unlimited) * Raclette chef & Swiss melter for 120 minutes. * Platter of prosciutto (unlimited) * Cheese-pairing jams and honey. * Cornichons and pearl onions. * Swiss-style potatoes - grandma's recipe. * Veggies sliced or tossed as a salad. * "Ben's Raclette" cart, canopy, plates, forks, and napkins. * Suggested for <60 guests, or larger events with multiple food options. 2) Raclette appetizer service includes: * Platters of 12 bite-sized raclette pieces * Choose three types: e.g., Fig and prosciutto, pesto, and honey * Replenished frequently and pass around the room. 3) À la carte service includes: * Simplified option where host prepares their own dishes and sides. * Order raclette cheese in half wheel increments. * Add-on accompaniments like cornichons and cocktail onions. * No guest count required.

- Do you offer tastings?
- Yes, tastings are available by visiting Ben at a public event in the Boston area. You'll receive a sample flight of 3 popular flavors at no charge. Visit our website "Events" page for dates and locations.
- What are the pricing options for raclette as a meal?
- Pricing for our signature raclette-on-baguette with Swiss potatoes, accompaniments, veggies and prosciutto is $984 for 10 people. Smaller groups just pay the minimum. Additional guests are $18.50 each. Please request a quote for your estimated group size. Party size doesn't need to be exact.
- What are the pricing options for raclette as an appetizer?
- The base price of our raclette bites (on baguettes) as an appetizer experience is $1,219 for 30 people. Additional guests are $14 each. Please request a quote for your estimated group size. Party size doesn't need to be exact.
- Do you offer bar or liquor packages?
- Unfortunately, at this time we do not provide alcohol but we are happy to recommend pairings. Non-alcoholic beverage options are available upon request but does not come with a bar tender.
- Will you bring your own catering equipment to my venue?
- Yes, we will setup our cart, melter, and canopy. If outdoors without a roof, we must use a canopy for food safety. For indoor venues on the first floor, we'll setup the cart without a canopy. For second floor spaces without an elevator, we'll use folding tables with gingham coverings.
