BRANCH OF BERRIES Berry Branch is a brand new full-service flower shop in Somerville, Massachusetts. Berry Branch has evolved from a few weekly accounts at hotels and restaurants to a full-time customer base and wedding business since its inception in 2018. In East Somerville, we will open our first retail/studio facility in 2020. This new venue gives us the opportunity to share all of our passions with the Somerville community. We also provide a rotating collection of unique home plants, pottery, and a hand-picked selection of lady-made gifts in addition to our floral services. You'll find a table covered with a bright array of flowers if you come in Wednesday-Sunday; you can pick what you like or we can make something for you right there on the spot. We provide regular floral arrangements as well as specialized outdoor container design services. We're interested in anything that has to do with flowers and plants. Berry Branch is owned by Katie Wilhelm, who is also the designer. She is a passionate gardener who finds inspiration in the textures, colors, and movement of the garden as well as the beautiful New England environment. She enjoys all types of design, and she particularly like how her work responds to architecture and interior design, highlighting each place while also bringing the warmth and color that nature brings. Katie's greatest source of inspiration is color, and she is constantly striving to create something bold, vibrant, and beautiful. It goes without saying that we enjoy nature as florists and gardeners. The floral sector, like every other agricultural enterprise, is not immune to the logistical challenges that plague our environment. We are far from becoming entirely self-sufficient, but we are making an effort.
