Archna Becker has been in the restaurant business for 23 years, and during that time she has earned an astounding number of accolades for her work as the creative force behind the tantalizing food at Bhojanic, which is one of the most popular and awarded Indian food restaurants in the greater Atlanta area. She has received "Best" awards for her Indian restaurant from a multitude of prestigious magazines, blogs, and other publications, including Creative Loafing, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Cuisine, City Search, and Atlanta Magazine, which recognized Bhojanic as one of Atlanta's 50 Best Restaurants in 2011. Archna, whose name is pronounced "urchna," is a member of the Georgia Restaurant Association's board of directors (GRA). She has been a frequent guest host on a local radio discussion program for foodies and has taught both public and private cooking classes in association with a major retailer of culinary equipment. The Good Restaurant Association (GRA) considered her a candidate for Restaurateur of the Year in 2013. A childhood spent in India Archna was the chatty one in the kitchen, constantly assisting her grandma in preparing the dishes that Archna's grandmother enjoyed to eat while asking plenty of questions. According to Archna, "in our family, everyone inevitably finds their way into the kitchen, where they cook, eat, and listen to music." When she was 11 years old, her parents relocated the family to the United States. At the beginning of the 1990s, Archna was successful in persuading both of her parents to join her in the establishment of a catering company.
