Birch Design Studio is Chicago’s leading boutique firm specializing in event design, planning and orchestration. Founded in 2004, Birch Design Studio is a team of designers and producers working together to ensure our clients and events receive an unsurpassed level of attention. Born in Manhattan, owner of Birch Design Studio and principal designer, Marina Alexandra Birch spent her childhood crisscrossing the globe while living in New York and London, gaining a unique and worldly perspective at a very young age. With a degree in Art History from Princeton University, as well as a BFA in Interior Design from the Harrington College of Design, Birch founded the company over a decade ago with the goal of fusing her training in art, architecture, interiors, and fashion to design singularly unique, and impeccably planned celebrations for our clients. At Birch Design Studio, we work collaboratively with our clients and partners to design, manage and oversee every detail of our events, including invitation design, menu planning, floral, prop and lighting decor, entertainment, transportation, security and beyond. Birch Design Studio truly believes that strong partnerships produce the best results, which is why we champion our clients’ voices as well as champion the work of the best vendors throughout the world.
