Blackstone Caterers was founded in 1945 in Central Falls, RI. We relocated to Middletown, RI and began catering a variety of services for events of all sizes, including gala events, cocktail parties, and weddings, and rehearsal dinners. As a mid-size caterer we are "not too big and not too small" and take a "boutique" approach to each event that we are a part of. We are selective on how many events we produce in one night in order to guarantee personalized service, custom menu creation and event design. Our staff is composed of the best in their fields, from event planners, to chefs, to waitstaff, each individual is handpicked by our management team, and are certified by the highest standards in our industry. Every staff member who will work on your event is focused on our core mission: delivering a remarkable experience with an attention to customer service and detail that exceeds expectations. Blackstone Caterers' staff is a true “family” with many staff being a part of our team for decades. In 2019, Blackstone Caterers was purchased by Karen & Dave Tungett, who both combined have been within the company for 45 years, starting off with Dave in the back of the house and Karen in sales. Along with growing this business, Karen and Dave have two amazing children, Chace and Olivia.
