Bloom San Juan

It all began on a small vegetable farm outside of Seattle, when I met Brady, my future husband. He grew up on San Juan Island, and it was only a matter of time until we followed in his footsteps, abandoning the farm life on the mainland for a life of salt and flowers in Friday Harbor. A passion for growing veggies led me to try my hand at flower gardening, and the blooms were a much-appreciated gift to my family and friends who were getting married that first summer. I eventually found a niche and began growing flowers for weddings on the island. Growing flowers evolved into a passion for creating bouquets and centerpieces. Along with that came a passion for getting to know the couples I was working with, knowing their wedding day vision, and finding the decor to make that vision a reality. What I noticed time and time again was that couples wanted their guests to feel welcome, friendly, and to be able to see the beauty of the island in their wedding location.
