I've really grown to appreciate the unplanned, private moments that occur on a wedding day. the embrace your mother offers you as you exit the changing room. moment he sees you heading down the aisle, the tear that streams down his cheek. the manner in which the two of you huddle your heads together while making toasts. More than just the flowers and shoes you wore on this special day. It is intended to commemorate the birth of a new family. It's an honor to be a part of such an important day, and I sincerely hope you'll pick me to be. I believe in the kinds of pictures that bring to mind the happiness that may be experienced sharing even the most basic of situations. I think that photographs should be printed, put in lovely frames, and left hanging on walls for years to come. I started taking pictures on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier after I got my step-dad's DSLR camera for a deployment that took me around the world. The flight deck's rapid pace forced me to slow down and prepare myself to notice the small details and truly appreciate the beauty of what was going on in front of me and the people around me. Every time I pick up my camera, I try to take stunning and moving pictures that convey emotion, tell a story, and highlight the beauty of the subjects as well as the surroundings. Your life, your story is beautiful despite its ups and downs, and I can't wait to create images to illustrate that!
