In 2018, Ciara was wearing glitter while cashiering at a grocery store when a customer approached her about learning to paint children’s faces. It was love on the first try! She worked under experienced painters who mentored her before going solo as Bug's Face Paint. She is a professional face and body artist servicing Houston, Texas, with six years of experience, and is pursuing a BA in Fine Arts & Art History at University of Houston-Clear Lake. She works as an art educator on the weekdays so you can expect the patience, organization, and clear communication necessary to maintain order and ensure a positive experience for each child waiting for their turn in the face painting line. Rooted in her core as a painter, she holds a deep appreciation for the finesse of clean line work and the graceful flow of organic movements in her creations.
