Canvas Weddings

Hi, there. I’m Corinne, the founder of Canvas Weddings, and I love weddings. I love pretty flowers, flowy gowns, men in suits, romantic lighting and cheerful music, but more than anything else, my love for weddings stems from my love for people. I like to think that my work on weddings is similar to an artist’s work with his paintings. In order to create his masterpiece, he must understand and appreciate his root element ---the canvas. That’s how I approach my wedding work --- I first and foremost get to know, understand and appreciate the couple --- my root element --- whose special day I am helping to create. Everything else flows from that. I have found that the more couples treat their weddings as expressions of their unique identity as a pair, the more simple, stress-free and joyful the planning process becomes. Modern wedding planning can be a taxing and exhausting process --- in fact, some say that the average wedding consists of nearly 5,000 details! As such, I believe it is my duty to help each couple determine their unique point of view, which will, in turn, narrow the focus of the event and simplify the decision-making process. As a coordinator, clients can rely on me for prompt communication, an organized approach, a trusted confidante and a friend whose main goal is to help them create an artful, expressive day that they can enjoy and look back on with fondness. Canvas Weddings is based in the Hudson Valley area of New York.
