My primary goal is to make your photos and day as memorable as possible. I'll never rush you through a shot or tell you what to do or how to pose all the time. Instead, I place a higher value on your experience than anything else. Due to the fact that an amazing photograph of a negative experience will never be worth it. A photograph will be unappealing if there is no connection. Capture that sliver of magic, and even the most straightforward photograph will be elevated. And, to be completely honest, the same principle applies to your relationship with your photographer as it does with anyone else. That's why I've set myself the goal of getting to know you better. And with me, what you see is exactly what you will get. I've never met a complete stranger and enjoy forming relationships with others. I've photographed over 500 weddings, so I have a pretty good idea of the kinds of moments you'll want to remember from your big day. But I also want to give you the reassurance that I will capture the images you (and your family) desire during the session as well. So, prior to your session, I'll have you complete an extensive questionnaire that includes a list of important portraits as well as any awkward family dynamics that might arise during the session. After that, I'll devise a strategy for capturing those images while still having plenty of time on my hands. I keep a close eye on things and look for opportunities to see things from another person's point of view when they present themselves. When your father sees you for the first time in your dress, he has a different point of view. How your grandmother looks at you with pride and amazement as you take part in your first dance with your partner. Images that depict a variety of perspectives from the people who love and care for you are most effective. Because weddings are frequently referred to as the "big day" for the couple. However, it is often just as significant a moment for those who are close to you. And you'll want to see things from their point of view as well, starting today. And it's always the same. It takes a certain amount of trust and comfort on your part to capture intimate and vulnerable moments. And a great deal of personal experience and empathy on my part. As a result, I try to remain as hands-off as possible and allow the interaction to unfold as naturally as possible, while also knowing when to provide you with the appropriate amount of guidance and direction. You and your loved ones will be able to fully experience the emotions of your special day while allowing me to document the event on film. It's simple to capture what it appears to be.
