Do you specialize in certain types of cuisine?: We specialize in creating extraordinary culinary experiences. Our passionate Event Designers and Culinary Team create custom-designed menus by listening and understanding your ideas and translating them into a culinary experience.
Do you offer catering options to accommodate special dietary needs?: Yes, of course! We want every guest at our events to feel special and to enjoy a thoughtfully designed menu to suit their needs and any dietary restrictions.
What are the pricing options for your packages?: We do not have specific packages, but rather price each proposal based on venue, menu items, staffing needs, rentals, etc. All menus are custom based on the needs of the client.
What makes your catering style unique?: We specialize in executing highly customized event experiences. Everything from original, innovative catering and event design concepts. Our innovative style of catering demands a unique thought process that requires us to constantly invent new ways of providing fresh dishes on site.
Do you offer tastings, and when would my tasting take place?: Yes – the first tasting typically occurs 6 months prior to the event

Syd Sexton

CEO

Syd brings an extensive background in hotel & catering management. She spent 13 years with the Hyatt Corporation as Director of Catering. She eventually opened her own Denver catering company for 15 years. She sold to business partners & returned to the hotel industry & joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Syd’s wealth of business acumen along with her people management expertise made her the perfect fit to guide the team at Catering By Design.
