Catherine's Garden

Catherine's Gardens was founded in May of 2005 by Julie Markert, who has over 20 years of experience in the floral industry. She fell in love with the shop’s building and the city of Oak Forest, and decided to set her shop there. In an age when we've lost a lot of that connection between consumers and establishments, she enjoyed the idea of community and being able to be the "town florist." Julie's love of art and design, along with her expertise in architecture and marketing, has helped her to become one of the area's top florists, winning scores of accolades for her work and community involvement. Nothing makes her happier than being able to help local Scouts, Teen Centers, Ronald McDonald Houses, and Animal Humane Society programs by contributing and providing centerpieces for their many events.
