He draws inspiration from pop artists like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat as well as caricature legends like Al Hirschfeld, Sebastian Kruger, and Bill Waterson. His formal fine art and graphic design training from SDSU, SDCC, and SDMC gives him a great understanding of what it takes to produce an appealing work of art.
