How do I get all my couples to seem so relaxed and in their element in my photos? Truth be told, while I'm not quite sure, I do know a few things that have over the years clearly worked for me. I honestly try my best to lead with just authentic feelings. Anything a couple doesn't want to do—or things that would leave us all in an awkward silence—are generally a no go because reading body language is so crucial. My strategy is to simply keep things going! On to the following notion/scenario! Be the finest possible third wheel you can be. As you establish a relationship and attempt new things, map out their comfort zone. Once you have that information, softly dance around it with your ideas, beginning with the simple things. It sets the tone of fun and ease before moving on to the more personal topics later in the session. And I don't know about you, but I need all that strange sweet and cute stuff!
