Are you sick of looking at wedding websites filled with images of jewelry, shoes, calligraphy, etc. and wondering where the people are? I think pictures might help you remember how you felt on a significant day. Going off-script and capturing the real are things I believe in. My aim when taking pictures is to capture the scene as accurately as I can. Years from now, I hope you'll look at my images and think, "That's how we were," rather than just, "That's how we looked." For weddings, I enjoy capturing candid moments such as brides giggling with their bridesmaids and close friends, champagne or whiskey toasts, when everyone shifts from high heels to flip flops or Converse late in the night, inebriated dancing, and, most importantly, sneaky looks across packed rooms. since this is really life. For parents, life with kids is wild, difficult, infuriating, and miraculous. And I want to take pictures of it all. Artificial smiles and corny stances don't really appeal to me. I prefer to record your family as they actually are, though. I adore lovies, sippy cups, and favorite family novels. I adore hugs, competitions, and spontaneous basketball games.
