Do you offer bar or liquor packages?: Yes, Deborah Miller Catering & Events holds a New York State liquor license and provides bar service; for each event we apply for the temporary day of caterer’s liquor permit required by New York State. Our customizable bar catering includes beer, wine, and spirits, with a full beverage program.
Will you bring your own catering equipment to my venue?: Yes, we are a full-service catering company that can offer all the touches needed to deliver a beautifully curated event.
What are the pricing options for your packages?: At Deborah Miller Catering & Events we set food and beverage minimums based on the day of the week: $750 for weekday events, $1,500 for Saturdays, and $2,000 for Sundays. These minimums help ensure consistent quality, staffing, and service across all events.
Do you offer catering options to accommodate special dietary needs?: Absolutely! Deborah Miller can regularly accommodate gluten-free, dairy‑free, vegan and vegetarian diets as well as common allergies (nuts, shellfish, etc.). Dietary needs are integrated into our menu planning so every guest can enjoy the food safely.
What menu customization options do you offer?: Our menus are seasonally driven, globally inspired, and can be tailored to your event type and guest needs. We prioritize local farms and artisanal purveyors, and design balanced menus that translate to plated dinners, stations, or passed hors d’oeuvres.

Deborah Miller

Founder & Principal

Deborah grew up with the sights and smells of food all around her. From her mother’s family dinners to her father’s greasy spoon restaurant in Manhattan, Deborah’s culinary enthusiasm began as a young child. She entered the kitchen at age 13, where she would wake up at 3:30am to work side by side with her dad at his busy luncheonette. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and eventually took over her father’s coffee shop, transporting it into a local neighborhood staple.
