Desert Child began its journey as a wedding band. As we grow our original music we continue to operate as the premier private events band in the Southwest, currently based in Durango, Colorado.

We come with everything we need to provide you with a remarkable event - all of our own sound, equipment, and lights. And we can take care of all of the sound for the entire evening from ceremony mics and music, playlists and MC services for both cocktail hour and dinner and after first dances come on stage to get everyone out on the dance floor to have a great time!

- How would you describe your entertaining style?
- We are a wedding band for couples who LOVE music and want their guests to have a concert experience. As a band we give your guests the permission they are wanting to get out there on the dance floor and have a great time and get to know you as a couple and your guests to customize that experience.
- Is someone available to act as the emcee?
- Absolutely. We just ask that your planner or coordinator is in communication with us before the event to ensure we know exactly what and when things need to be announced. The day of we work on this as a team and are in constant communication with them on timing.
