Chef Gene Gerrard offers a large selection of organic gourmet dishes (including humanely raised meats and wild game) from which you can choose to create a personalized menu for your dinner party, wedding, special event or holiday celebration. He was raised on the East Coast and graduated from Wesleyan University. His travels to Russia, France, Italy and Spain influence his cooking style today. Chef Gene incorporated Divoon Dining in 2006, and his many clients include actors, writers and directors, film festivals, art exhibitions, corporate, legal and banking professionals and business entrepreneurs. When he’s not cooking, Chef Gene also presents cooking demonstrations at food and home design shows. He has been featured in several magazine articles about being a personal chef and catering in Newport Beach and Orange County. Chef Gene was very fortunate to meet his culinary muse, Julia Child, who praised him as “a fearless chef, which is how a chef should be!”
