DJ Dino

Miami-based DJ and drummer with a strong affinity for new wave, synthpop, minimal synth, and dark electro. Dino was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and his involvement in the music industry dates back to the middle of the 1980s. Dino was once the drummer for the synth/indie outfit FORMULA REDUX, which was signed to Universal Music. These days, Dino collaborates with a variety of musicians and projects, both live and in the recording studio. Dino is presently a Radio Host/DJ for his show SYNTHOLOGY 101, which has been airing for a very long period on Jolt Radio (joltradio.org). Although Dino does not currently have a residency gig, you will probably see him spinning records as a guest DJ at one of the city's many nightclubs in the near future. On their resume, they list local nights such as Fire & Ice, The Church, Manray South, The Kitchen Club, Poplife, Venus Room, The Morgue, Respectable Street Cafe, Club 1235 (Now Mansion), Metro Lounge, Submission, and MASS. Additionally, they were the original resident DJs for The London Ballroom and The Fetish Box. Having begun his internet radio show SYNTHOLOGY 101 on thewomb.com in the middle of the 1990s, it greatly exposed him to the electronic music scene. This helped him gain additional recognition, which led to DJ gigs throughout the country, including performances at SYNTHCON Synthpop Festival (Los Angeles, California), Transcommunion Music Festival (Houston, Texas), and Nekropolis (Club Lazer San Juan, Puerto Rico), to name just a few.
