DJ Jason Jasepi

Jason Phillips, alias DJ jasepi, is a Los Angeles native who has quickly established himself as one of Hollywood's most in-demand DJs. Jasepi is gaining notoriety for spinning an eclectic mix of break beat, house, and electro with the flavors of old school and Top 40s for a signature sound that he mixes to encourage everyone to "get up and dance." He has spun for some of Hollywood's biggest names, including Eva Longoria-Parker, Paris Hilton, and Robin Thicke. Jasepi has been a featured performer at hundreds of events around the world in recent years, including the Olympics in Rio and the World Boxing Championships in Qatar, as well as an impressive five years as the live DJ for ESPN's X-Games in Los Angeles and a variety of events in Las Vegas and New York. He's been asked to spin at some of the hottest parties in the entertainment, lifestyle, and fashion industries, including Ubisoft's 25th anniversary/E3 Party and Lions Gate's Lincoln Lawyer premier party, the highly acclaimed Playboy Mansion, the prestigious GenArt Fresh Faces in Fashion show during LA and NY Fashion Week, and FOX's TCA party, where he performed for the casts of "24," "House," and "Bones." In addition to performing at Warner Brothers Films' "The Rite'' premiere party, jasepi has appeared as a guest DJ on the critically acclaimed FX show "Dirt," starring Courtney Cox-Arquette, and has worked with Boost Mobile, TV Guide, Stoli Vodka, and Mountain Dew, to name a few. Jasepi is fluent in Japanese and spent over a year living in Japan, where he immersed himself in the country's rich history and culture. Jasepi was influenced by unusual street noises, popular electronic music, and began to rediscover his passion for his favorite childhood musicians, blending all of these influences into his approach. When he returned to the United States, he obtained his sound engineering degree from the famed Musician's Institute, which he claimed would "enable him to learn more about the back side of the music industry." Since then, he's returned to Tokyo to perform at the famed "Summer Sonic Festival." Jasepi continues to differentiate himself unique from his competition, from his early love of drum and bass sounds to break dancing and the rhythm of electronic music, to his modern sound that embraces the best music up to now.
