DJ Lux

DJ Lux has a strong passion for excellent music of all kinds, and growing up in South Florida influenced his interests in modern dance music while also exposing him to worldwide sounds and allowing him to stay on top of all the latest musical trends. He is also bilingual (Spanish and English) (born in Lima, Peru). Even before the CD format was created, he learned how to DJ at the age of 15. He has always been a "B-Boy Breaker" at heart, and his love of excellent dance music inspired him to explore the art of turntable-ism. His initial gigs were at school parties, and he went on to have a long and illustrious club and lounge DJ career, which he continues to do today. He is well versed in all types of DJing, but prefers to control the party from behind two turntables. He also employs cutting-edge applications like Serato DJ and Ableton, which allow him to immediately search hundreds of songs and drop the ideal beat effortlessly into the mix, or make his own remixes and mash-ups, in keeping with today's technical breakthroughs. He has also added video mixing to his already remarkable skill set. His resume includes the Los Angeles Pride Parade, Nordstrom, Louis Vuitton, Mazda, LA Fitness, UFC Gym, and other private events at some of SoCal's most exclusive and elegant venues. He has worked on his own musical production and is constantly working to deliver new music for all music fans. Hip-hop, Top-40, Pop, Rock/Alternative/Indie, Mash-Ups, EDM, House, Electro, Latin, 70's, 80's, 90's, plus all the standards are all in his repertoire.
