Tessa is a female DJ with experience performing at corporate events, brand events, private events, special events, celebrity events, beauty events, fashion events, retail events, technology events, gaming events, auto events, convention events, sporting events, influencer events, launch parties, and livestream events. She's also the founder of Prism DJs, a DJ booking business that specializes in scheduling female DJs for corporate, social, and private events. Los Angeles, Long Beach, Orange County, Palm Springs, San Diego, and Santa Barbara are all served by DJ Tessa and Prism DJs. Tessa Young has carved out a niche for herself as a DJ and an agent with a strong love and broad knowledge of music, as well as a commitment to boosting other women in the music industry. She began her DJ career at Wurstküche over a decade ago and has since performed at a variety of venues, private parties, weddings, and corporate events. She's performed at events including TwitchCon's Broadcaster Royale Omen Challenge and Vans Girls and Women skate events, as well as providing music for clients like the City of Hope and Too Faced Cosmetics. People informed Tessa early on in her career that finding women DJs was difficult. In response, she founded PRISM DJs, a full-service company that matches clients with female DJs for parties, weddings, and other events. PRISM DJs was founded in 2015 by four DJs. Tessa now collaborates with a diverse group of 30 DJs who specialize in anything from hip-hop to house to indie dance.
