DJ Will Chitwood

Hello, I'm DJ Will Chitwood, the company's owner and lead DJ. In Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the year 2000, a friend encouraged me to join his DJ company. I quickly came to the conclusion that I adored DJing! In order to inspire people to dance and have a good time, I founded my own business in 2001, which I named Dancing DJ Productions. I gave up competitive skating in 2007 and made the decision to relocate to San Diego, California. While visiting Southern California for skating, I fell in love with the region, and moving there gave me year-round DJing prospects. I've participated in more than 3200 events in the previous 21 years as a DJ and MC. Although I mostly DJ in Southern California, I've also done it in Chicago and England. Even though my DJ company performs at many events, I still enjoy DJing and play at over 100 weddings and events each year. People frequently inquire about my musical tastes. The truth is that I genuinely enjoy most musical genres. To give you an idea, I typically listen to top-40, hip-hop, classic rock, EDM, and alt rock when driving. However, when I DJ, I play anything your audience and you like. I've mastered the ability to gauge the mood of your audience and maintain a lively dance floor over the years.
