Drawing from Nature

Andrea Slusarski (she/her) is a Colorado-based artist, educator, and 'plein air' sketchbook adventurer. Her drawing and teaching methods are motivated by this unique study, which is fascinated by how Creativity (Flow) affects learning. Andrea's sketchbooks are packed with lines and words connected throughout the locations she explores, inspired by the lines found in nature. She's the brains behind the Drawing From Nature Studio, which has worked with a number of Colorado-based companies, including Coalition Snow, Osprey Packs, and Wild Rye, to name a few. SISU Magazine, 5280, The Art of Education, and Elevation Outdoors voters named her "Best People/Instagrammer" for the Best of the Rockies 2019.
