Ember exists at the nexus of commercial lighting, fine art, and photojournalism, among other things. The eyes of a curator are trained to see beauty in the most unexpected places. Matt Trivett founded the company in 2018. Ember is a group of photographers who have been hand-selected for their natural talent as well as their impressive personal portfolios in order to create our distinctive style. Mr. Matt Trivett is the owner of Ember Photography and an award-winning wedding photographer who combines elements of fine art photography with elements of fantastic light photography and landscape photography to create a distinct perspective on the wedding industry. Matt is a National Geographic-published photographer who enjoys traveling, photographing landscapes, and taking on new adventures. When he's behind the lens of his camera, he's at his most alive, bringing out the best and most authentic versions of people and places to life. The majority of his weddings are held on the ground, although he prefers to repel into a cave. A lighting technician on Hollywood blockbusters such as the Marvel Avengers films, Aubrey has spent the last ten years studying and honing his craft on the sets of major motion pictures in cities from Miami to New York to California to Paris. His interest in photography began when he was a child, before he could afford a roll of Kodak 100 Gold film. Aubrey consistently outperforms expectations with each shot. Using his knowledge and experience, he will put you at ease, and as the father of twin toddlers, he will be able to easily and confidently control any group or rowdy bridal party, including adult toddlers from the bride's family. Sydney is Ember's primary photographer in Washington, D.C., as well as the company's resident art history nerd. Following the completion of her Bachelor's Degree in Art History, she decided to focus her efforts on the destination wedding photography business in Washington, D.C. and Colorado, among other places. Her talent for capturing the authentic, natural nature of her clients' personalities is unsurpassed, and she incorporates elements of her love of nature into her work. Sydney's gift, in our opinion, is her ability to capture raw emotion in a natural, authentic way that captivates and delights her clients and their guests. But she'd probably say it's because of her hula hooping abilities. Besides that, she's a diehard Alabama fan, as evidenced by a tattoo on her arm; just don't ask where it is.
