I frequently have to pinch myself since I live on a rural road halfway between Washington, DC, and Annapolis, Maryland, and I get to do what I love for a profession. When I'm not documenting the love stories of the amazing couples I get to work with, you can find me savoring every second of life with my balding husband, our adorable daughter, and our big-eared dog. I've always loved art, but I didn't think about a future in wedding photography until I looked through the pages of my sister's wedding album. Every page in that album detailed my sister and her husband's special love story. I knew then that they would always have this lovely reminder of the solid foundation from which their marriage began, regardless of the challenges life could throw their way. I adore reminding my clients to do that. Wedding photography involves much more than just taking lovely pictures. Those pictures are indeed very important to us, but your wedding experience is also very important to us. We never want the awkward postures your photographers forced you to hold firm that were so not you to be part of your wedding day recollections. Our aim is to provide classic photographs that truly and authentically express who you two are as a couple. We want anyone who go through your wedding book in the future to see how you're still holding hands the same way, even after all these years. We take the time to get to know you, both because we're grateful that you've chosen us to record the memories of such an important day and because we really believe that getting to know a couple before their wedding day is the only way to photograph them in a genuine way.
