Jonny Mora is an American musician and performer raised between New York and Puerto Rico, bringing a rich cultural influence to his work. He began playing guitar at age 9 under the mentorship of Puerto Rican indie-rock pioneer Willie Roman, developing a sound rooted in classic rock, blues, and acoustic-driven songwriting. His influences include Guns N’ Roses, Bryan Adams, Prince, and 70s acoustic- pop. After starting his professional career in New York City with acting and film/TV work, Jonny earned his SAG- AFTRA membership in 2018 and was screen-tested for major studio projects. Now based in Florida, Jonny performs live music full- time, delivering a signature MTV Unplugged–style experience. Known for his strong voice, energy, and feel-driven playing, every performance is intentional, dynamic, and never the same twice.
