FAQs 5

How would you describe your entertaining style?
Friendly and welcoming but also fast with a close attention to details so that everyone gets a fabulous work of art on them to make them part of the celebration. After seeing the kids, often the adults at the party line up to be painted too. And I usually bring a set of Festival Glitter with me.
Are you willing to paint to a theme?
Of course. I've done your typical princess parties, Superhero, holiday themes but also Plants vs. Zombies, Paint the Rainbow, and Carnival. Not to mention Day of the Dead, Sugar Skulls, and Mardi Gras.
What about kids with special needs?
I'm very experienced with special needs children. If they need to rock back and forth, I can move and paint at the same time. Some don't like to be touched so in that case I will ask the parent to place their hand on the child's forehead so I can rest my hand on theirs. I speak in a soothing voice.
Where did you learn this?
I've been lucky to have trained with some of the best in the world. Dutch of SkinWars! is a friend of mine. I've personally learned from Pashur (Hollywood), Mark Reid (Texas State Fair), Nick Wolfe, Matteo Arfanotti (World Champion body painter) and more.
How did you get started in this?
I was bad at art but about 10 yrs ago my kids didn't have any art in elementary school so I watched Bob Ross to learn something to teach them. Soon I was selling art, teaching art and the school asked me to face paint at their carnival. I had 2 days to learn it. 3 days later, I got calls to hire me.
