I lost my dad when I was eight years old. As time goes on, being a momma and a wife, I constantly think of what life would have been like if my dad was still here. Not having pictures of him from those short few years helped drive my love for photography. I never want to look back on a moment and wish I had captured it. I believe the best moments are the ones that happen in an instant. You often don't realize the best moments until they are a memory. You deserve to remember that moment, and relive it forever. While I may be fueled by equal parts Starbucks and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile, and ask time to please slow down. Your story, your love, all of it is so uniquely beautiful and I want to capture it in images you will treasure for years to come. My mother has since remarried and has been a beautiful example of love and marriage. My parents have been a great example of how far you can get with love and perseverance. This foundation helped drive me to be the woman, wife. I'm a hybrid photographer who shoots both digital and film. I began capturing images on film in 2021. I discovered that film forces you to capture moments and not just images. It tells a timeless story that digital can't. I'm limited by the amount of images on a roll of film. It forces me to put my digital down and really observe the beauty in the moment right in front of me. Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them. Even with it's ups and downs, your life, your story, are beautiful and I can't wait to create images to show that!
