About Fete Au Fete
As a child growing up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was exposed to a range of dishes that would feed his lifelong passion for cooking, Chef Micah Martello developed a profound appreciation for Southern cuisine. Any event should have excellent food, therefore hire us for catering to guarantee that guests will talk about your event for a long time! At the age of 18, Chef Micah Martello started working as a prep cook at the Lafayette Hilton and Towers in Lafayette, Louisiana. He learned classical French cuisine there and finished his apprenticeship through the American Culinary Federation while also pursuing his full-time studies at the University of Louisiana Lafayette for a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant administration. He had barely been working at the Hilton for four months when he was promoted to line cook, banquet chef, and finally executive sous chef. He spent three years at the Hilton studying the business before being hired as the city's youngest executive chef at the age of 21 for his first role as executive chef at Tavern on the Park in New Orleans.
