FLOOR LA INC specializes in providing flowers to the lifestyle and fashion industries as well as the beauty, technology, and fashion industries. They match floral and event design to brands for product launches, parties, and corporate events. Carly Cylinder, the owner and author of Carly Cylinder Floral Design, is a speaker and floral design instructor for private and public events hosted by media and brands. Flour LA, Jr., a sister company, hosts children's birthday parties. We have offices in New York City, Los Angeles, and Nashville, and have completed projects in nearly every major city in the United States of America. We travel to exotic locations for high-end events. THE BACKGROUND OF THE STORY As a retail storefront for food and flowers, Flour was originally conceived at the end of 2009, which gives rise to the company's double-entendre name. However, after establishing a local online presence in the floral industry, the plan was shelved in order to concentrate on exclusively providing flowers to our upscale clientele, who were looking for high-quality and innovative arrangements. As our business grew, our clients began referring to us as Flour LA, and in 2013, we expanded to the east coast as well. Carly expanded Flour LA to include Nashville in 2019. We primarily design floral arrangements for high-end fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands, the media, editorial, public relations events, galas, and festivals, as well as a small number of weddings and other special events. Flour LA, Jr! is a children's party company that we launched at the end of 2013 that hosts events where children can play with, build with, and decorate with flowers.
