The founder of Capuchino Coffee Roasters, Aquiles Guerrero, was born on a coffee farm in Nicaragua, grew up picking coffee, became a barista at the age of twelve, and a roaster at the age of eighteen. He attended Capuchino High School, where he met his wife Marissa (no, seriously, you couldn't make this stuff up if you tried). They have three children and one wife. His coffee experience is firmly ingrained, having begun in San Francisco in the late 1980s at his family's coffee store, Martha and Bros. Coffee, and continuing to this day. OWNED AND OPERATED BY A FAMILY Flywheel Coffee Roasters is a family-owned and operated business located in the historic Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco, California. We're exactly across the street from Golden Gate Park and directly across the street from Whole Foods. Our passion is to provide you with a cup of quality by combining a lifetime commitment to the craft of coffee with a relentless pursuit of perfection. THE PARTICIPANTS Fatima Marin Chavez: Store manager who started her coffee journey here at Flywheel Coffee from the bottom, as in she had no prior coffee experience, but now she's here, as in she's the best latte artist you've ever seen, without a doubt. Roastmaster Lawrence Cheung is a well-known figure in the Hong Kong food scene. Lawrence, maybe our most knowledgeable team member, is known for his meticulous attention to detail, which is evident in everything he does, especially when it comes to coffee roasting and brewing. Keanu Brady: Keanu is our barista role model, embodying everything you'd want in a barista, from his outgoing attitude to his work ethics, customer service, and ability to work as a team player. Rest of the Team: Christine Javier, John Heroux, Garry Hayman, to mention a few; all of our baristas play a critical role in our success and are all deeply valued.
