Frances Photography

I was the oldest of three girls and grew up in Colorado. My sisters and I have always had a passion for experiencing new things and being outdoors. I like to dance like a boss, go snowboarding, scuba diving, skydiving, riding motorcycles, jumping out of airplanes, and traveling the world. My loyal companion is a Doberman named Bodhi, and he is a member of the family in every sense of the word. Every wedding, every job, and every shot gets one hundred percent of my full mental, emotional, and loving attention. There is no other method that I am aware of for taking photographs. There is no other way that I can imagine living my life. This is a promise that I have made to you. My work has traditional, documentary, and artistic roots, but it is constantly developing new directions. I deliver photographs that are arresting and beautiful, while also giving a nod to the timeless classics that have stood the test of time. On the other hand, throughout the day I look for opportunities to exercise my creative license. My goal is to provide some one-of-a-kind photographs that are exclusive to that couple. On the day of the wedding, many people have told me that I am at my most effective when I am capturing the genuine emotions, natural connections, and unplanned moments. My photographs are honest, and they are meant to convey a sense of narrative. EXPERIENCE Photography is not a part-time gig or a pastime for me; rather, it is an expression of my identity as a professional photographer. It's my favorite thing to do. I have worked as a wedding photographer for more than 15 years and have covered hundreds of weddings. And even though I have formal training in photography, the most important lessons I've learned have come not from books but from the blood, sweat, and tears I've shed along the way. On the day of your wedding, anything and everything is possible to occur. In spite of everything, I will maintain my composure and adapt creatively to the many different kinds of shifting circumstances. Grace under pressure.
