Free Spirit is able to faithfully replicate music from any era because to its eleven on-stage musicians, each of whom possesses a unique set of skills that contribute to the band's overall sound. The Washingtonian, Washington Life, Modern Bride, Town & Country, and Baltimore Magazines have all published favorable reviews of Free Spirit, and the venue continues to be a popular option among event planners in the Washington, DC, and Baltimore areas. The members of Free Spirit are all experienced musicians who have held prestigious positions in military services bands and orchestras, secured recording contracts with major record labels, and signed endorsement deals with major manufacturers of musical instruments. During the gala season, Free Spirit was also given the opportunity to perform for some of the most prestigious entertainment organizations in the area.
