Starting with Republic, Cafeteria, and BondSt – signature New York City restaurant landmarks – Studio GAIA paved the way for a new and innovative language in the hospitality field. This language goes beyond the conventional and explores the senses with a one-of-a-kind and elegant approach that incorporates drama, movement, vitality, tension, and energy. Studio GAIA was the driving force behind the interior design of W Hotels' expansion into Latin America and Asia Pacific, both of which are major competitive markets located outside of the United States. This movement was a seamless transition into the next phase of the brand's expansion. W Mexico City was the first hotel to pioneer the innovative concept of translating regional influences into timelessly modern design. W Walkerhill Seoul, South Korea quickly followed in the footsteps of Mexico City's success, successfully pushing the envelope of the brand standard to a level that had never been seen before. Today, Studio GAIA's portfolio includes a wide variety of well-known hospitality clients, such as Ritz-Carlton, MGM, and several recent developments of W hotels. These clients are located all over the world, and their work demonstrates Studio GAIA's ability to comprehend, implement, and elevate brand standards for each of their individual projects.
