Vincent Marra, a founding partner, has worked in the hotel sector all his life. It was not surprising that he enrolled in Johnson & Wales University's esteemed culinary arts department given that he was raised in his family's restaurants. Vince returned to his culinary origins after a brief detour into academia to gain further degrees in English, Philosophy, and Education. He held notable positions in renowned hospitality firms for more than 20 years. At the age of 27, Vince earned his executive chef certification from the American Culinary Federation. Since then, he has divided his time between five-star resorts, national chain restaurants, and hospitality consultancy. Vice President of Sales, Travis Schamerhorn, has worked as a post-impressionist artist, insurance salesman, computer hardware technician, hospitality educator, and navy intelligence specialist. Travis left the safety of his corporate marketing job for the rigors of culinary school and the difficulties of restaurant management, motivated by his lifelong passion for hospitality and a desire to reinvent himself before reaching 40. While working on a consultancy project at a large hotel, Vince met Travis. Vince immediately recognized the makings of a fruitful collaboration. As they say, the rest is history.
