Grayhouse Events Atelier is a full-service wedding and event planning company. Proprietor, Jim Gray, offers a broad range of knowledge and experience not just in weddings, but any type of celebration. Jim has been in the event industry in Houston for over 30 years and most notably as Social Catering Service Manager at the Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa for 18 successful years. Over the years, Jim realized his passion for being involved every step of the way, not just planning details that pertain to the hotel. Along with an incredible amount of support and encouragement from former clients and industry allies, Grayhouse Events Atelier was born. Choosing a planner for your wedding is the most intimate vendor you'll select. Grayhouse clients become lifelong friends throughout the process. No detail is too big or too small. In fact, the Grayhouse Team thrives on making sure each wedding is tailored to the couple and a reflection of them. You will never hear, "this is how it's done". Their priority is to customize as much as possible along the planning process. The Team look forward to the opportunity to share more about Grayhouse and to hear about your dream wedding and how we can make the planning process seamless and enjoyable. - What are the benefits of having a Team approach?
- Having a Team enables us to offer a higher level of detail and involvement. At Grayhouse Events, we work with a Team approach. None of our Staff are interns or temporary. We're each in the office Monday-Friday, even after busy weekends. On event days, we all know the full scope of details.
- What are the benefits of having a local planner for your destination wedding?
- The main benefit of hiring a local planner is that the critical face to face planning element is still intact and not limited to periodic visits/conference calls. At Grayhouse, we meet with our clients in person on a regular basis. Working with a planner at the destination limits that interaction.
- What are the benefits of hiring a full service planner
- Our full service package offers unlimited in person meetings as well as unlimited communication with the Grayhouse Team. Having us along from the beginning offers a much higher level of attention to detail and involvement. It also enables us to ensure wedding details are aligned for success.
- How would previous clients describe your planning style?
- Our clients continuously compliment us on our team involvement as well as the level and speed of communication. We encourage our clients to reach out any time they have a thought or need. They know if they have a thought at 11pm, they can text us and we'll be on it the next day.
- Does Grayhouse only plan weddings?
- Grayhouse Events plans any kind of event or gathering. We love weddings, however we also plan milestone events, holiday parties, and bar/bat mitzvahs etc. We've also planned full-scale corporate conferences and incentive travel. You name it, we'll plan it!
