You'll see at your wedding, HBIC Weddings is not the type of wedding planner that stands on the sidelines, hugging a clipboard all day; we’re thinking 2 steps ahead for you, leading the day so you can enjoy your wedding to the fullest. You'll have HBIC Weddings as your point-person for any & all questions from anybody all day long; you’ll have a wonderful wedding day because we’ve got you covered! Couples love our #1 rule - We work smart, not hard for our couples - while creating a wholly customized plan for every single couple. Everything is based on each couple we have the honor to work with, including budgets, timelines, ceremony scripts, from scratch to final edits! Even down to the checklists, they’re custom-drafted and based on what you want & sent out as bite-size attainable tasks. We want you to enjoy the whole process, from throwing around wild ideas to the last Champagne toast at your reception. Well, we want you to enjoy the rest of the night as well, but you’re on your own for that one... Each one of your guests will enjoy your celebration. We’re there if anything pops-up from a wild groomsman to you name it - we swoop in & address the situation before it goes sideways on you. Couples also love that we're all about paying it forward too. With your permission, we grab any flowers still hanging around after your guests have long gone, give them a little refresh & hand-deliver them to a local hospice to bring a smile to their residents the following day. We also make a donation to both World Central Kitchen and Lurie Children’s Hospital to honor each couple that we have had the honor to work with for their celebration!

You've spent countless hours planning. Now see it all come together! Introducing MONTH / DAY OF MANAGEMENT, the holy grail of weddings. Not to be confused with the run-of-the-mill “day-of planners,” who swoop in for one day and take over – Oh no! We take the time, 30 days to be exact, to really get to know you and understand what will make your wedding a night to remember. Handling all the details, big and small, from vendors and venues to contracts. (Yuck!) We take the many pieces of your wedding day puzzle and put them all together into one complete picture for you! Your “what am I forgetting about” fears will be soothed away as we make sure you’re all set for the big day! Oh and on the big day, we got you covered – enjoy your day, we’ll take care of the details! You’ll have not one but two staff kicking butt and taking names, to ensure that you and your guests are having the time of your lives! So, if you have all the details hashed out, booked in, and ready to roll, but need someone to come in and make sure everything runs as smooth. This package is just perfect for you!

- What is the difference between a venue coordinator and a wedding planner?
- A venue coordinator manages items that pertain to the venue, ONLY. My job as your planner is to orchestrate the entire event from start to finish, making sure your planning & wedding experience is as stress-free as possible, leaving you to enjoy the day fully.
- What sets you apart from other planners?
- What makes us unique is how involved we are - we LOVE the nitty-gritty details, more so than most planners. We merge traditional moments of a wedding & reimagine them to the personalities of our couples, so their celebration is “totally them”!
- Why don't wedding vendors list thier prices on their websites?
- The truth is, there are so many variables many vendors must take into consideration, it just isn’t possible to list pricing details, because every wedding is different. With just a little insight from the couple, at the least price ranges can be sent quickly based on your real needs!
- Do you have insurance? And who should have it?
- Yes, we hold both General Liability & Professional Insurance coverage. As the planner, we provide a certificate of insurance (COI) to your venue & collect a COI from all vendors. Only real professionals can be insured. Most venues require the couple to have a COI too – we can help you with this.
- What was the shortest time you've had to plan a wedding?
- It was 16 DAYS before the wedding! We received a call on 7/3 from a bride in a panic; her planner "ghosted" her, was about to go on a week-long work trip & had a wedding booked at The Ace Hotel on the 20th. The Groom & I worked together daily & pulled off a perfect hipster West Loop rooftop wedding.
