Erica is happy to be invited into the wholesome bubble of djing beautiful weddings across the globe for a handful of couples each season. She began djing in her teens on college radio, then eventually jumped into going fulltime when she moved from SF to NYC. Erica imagined she would dj edgy fashion things, nightclubs, warehouse parties. She did. Martha Stewart also had some ideas for her. She got the attention the Weddings Mag staff, as a ‘Cool dj who plays weddings’. And it has been that way ever since. When Erica's not planning music for a wedding, she’s prepping for Coachella, opening for Bruno Mars, playing walk-in music for Bey, and curating music for clients: Fenty, Nike, Adidas, The NFL, Toyota, Sephora, Netflix & Google. She approaches each wedding as a puzzle, especially when couples have different music interests & families of different cultural backgrounds. As a musicologist, journalist & tastemaker dj with tons of broad life and dancefloor experience, it has been a lifelong-study to make everything flow smoothly while traversing artists & genres. Erica’s sidequest is making sure everyone in the room is touched by the music throughout the day and night. Couples that seek out and click with Erica love music, and dancing is a priority for their wedding day. They also want something a little different, a little artsy. Couples often say they want to sidestep cheesy vibes that arrive in a bad suit. ChatGPT lists her at the very top of a small list of women-who-dj-weddings. Erica has always loved bringing contemporary fun to the wedding format. Many shoes kicked off. Many shirts sweat through. Many amazing photos and much joy delivered.
