Here and Now Events is a woman-owned boutique event planning and design company based out of Ridgewood, New York, located in the borough of Queens. Founder and Lead Event Planner Raquel Federowicz has been in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years, working alongside some of New York City’s prestigious restaurants and hotels. Throughout her experience, she formed long-lasting connections with an array of venues and vendors in the area that have allowed her to curate amazing events. Along with her attentive team, this planner is devoted to helping clients host not only an event but the experience of their dreams. Whether you need help with a few finishing touches or don’t know where to begin, Raquel and her team are equipped and happy to help. To streamline your process, the business offers an array of packages, ranging from full and partial planning to day-of coordination and decor setup. These options include services such as budget management, vendor recommendations, menu development, venue walkthroughs, and much more! Here and Now Events also has a large decor inventory which you are welcome to rent from so that your event’s aesthetic matches your preferences to the tee. - What event planning services do you offer?
- We offer an arrange services for weddings and social events. Our packages include: -planning from the beginning -decor and coordination only -budget management -vendor recommendations -rsvp management -etiquette assistance -destination planning -and more!
- Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?
- Yes, we do! Our New Beginnings package is created for the bride and groom that have done the majority of planning, and are ready to hand over the reigns. Now its time for you to enjoy! We will handle all the logistics of your big day. This package starts 6 weeks prior to the wedding!
- How many people from your team will be on-site during my event?
- It depends! For events under 100 guests, there will be a lead planner and an assistant. If your guest list is higher than 150, there are usually at least 3 coordinators and possibly an intern. Based on the scope of the decor, event management that is needed, we bring on the adequate amount of staff.
- What makes your planning style unique?
- A unique precision, attention to detail and focus on the customer service experience that sets us apart from others. We stay educated on current event trends and as a Afro-Latina business woman she specialized in personalizing diverse events and handling stressful situations with grace and poise.

- Clients who work with us before appreciate my punctuality, creativity and sincerity. I have often been called an unofficial therapist and chaos coordinator by clients. Clients appreciate how I navigate the planning process with a direct yet loving and professional demeanor

Raquel Federowicz
Owner and Lead Event PlannerRaquel has worked within the hospitality industry for over 15 years. Her degree in Business Management, Sociology, and Theatre Arts led her to pursue event planning full-time. In 2015, Raquel was named NAPW (National Association of Professional Women) VIP Woman of the Year in her profession among many other professionals. In 2021, she was a featured speaker at EMRG's Annual Event Planner Expo alongside event and business professionals like Colin Cowie and Daymond John.
