About Hey Bernadette
Founded in 2014
I specialize in creating entirely original illustrated and hand lettered invitation design, signage, and paper goods for weddings and events. With a background in illustration and typography, I use my years of artistic study to produce one-of-a-kind event stationery for hosts wanting something uniquely their own. For event day calligraphy (think place cards and signage) I create brush-lettering and calligraphy using watercolors, gouache, and/or ink on acid free paper, seashells, acrylic, stone, terracotta, or whatever you’ve got in mind. - What services do you offer?
- Hey Bernadette offers custom bespoke illustrated invitation design and event stationery and signage. All artwork and hand lettering is created by the artist. From the idea of the design to illustration and lettering and finally to invitation assembly all work is done in studio by Bernadette.
- What is your pricing?
- Custom invitation design begins at $1500, and varies depending on what is requested. Event lettering is also highly variable depending on what is desired. Please see my pricing PDF or my website for more info on pricing, or send me a message and I'll get back to you with a quote.
- Do you offer different packages?
- Because each event is unique I do not offer packages, but I am happy to work with my clients to figure out what they need and want for their stationery and lettering and put together exactly that.
- What venues have you worked at before?
- I have created for weddings all over the world, including ones featured in Vogue Magazine, and Love Wins Texas Weddings.
- How far in advance should I book your services?
- With the highly customizable process of invitation design it's best to have as much time as we can to finalize our designs, order supplies, assemble, and mail in time for the event. I tell my clients to begin the process as soon as they're able.
