Hip Pocket Orchestra

The Hip Pocket Orchestra performs a variety of genres of music, including jazz standards, Motown, R&B, soul, rock & roll, and modern pop. Lead vocalists Chantal Ambroise and Josh Moreaux Jr. are included in the band. This year marks the Hip Pocket Orchestra's 15th year of providing outstanding live music. The Hip Pocket Orchestra is the band that all industry pros recommend, and they come from as far away as Boston, Newport, the Cape, and the Islands. The Hip Pocket Orchestra is an excellent 10-piece band that provides exquisite dinner music and spectacular dancing performances. The band is led by your host and conductor, Karen Bell, who works under the careful eyes of owner and manager Stuart Camiel as well as musical director Eric Byers and your host. This band is aware of the intangibles that contribute to successfully hosting a party, such as ensuring that the dance floor is always crowded. This band has learned all it needs to know from the masters, including how to present itself professionally, how long sets should be, and how long breaks should be.
