Hollyflora

Hollyflora is a full-service floral and styling firm founded in 2006 and inspired by the free spirit of Southern California. Principals Holly Vesecky and Rebecca Uchtman offer their imaginative and idealistic approach to homes, companies, and special events across Los Angeles and beyond from our Mid-City studio and marketplace. Holly Vesecky began working with flowers at the age of 15 after being raised with a profound affinity for the natural world. Holly mixes the beauty and wildness of nature with a sense of confidence and a wink, drawing on her appreciation of landscapes from Zion National Park to the Corn Islands, and a spectrum of influences from Paul Klee to Dolly Parton. When she's not in the studio, you'll find her in her Ojai orchard, working a crossword puzzle at Leo Carillo State Park, or unwinding with a drink and the Hollyflora staff after a long day. In 1999, Rebecca Uchtman tripped over flowers. She enjoys interacting with people and assisting customers in realizing their goals as a true Midwesterner. Rebecca's easy way with the unexpected helps her to make traditional compositions feel creative and new, thanks to her sense for color, shape, and proportion. Like the year's first Crocus struggling up through the snow, she finds inspiration in the most remote corners of the globe. She can be found on the front porch swing at dawn and by the light of the campfire at night outside the studio.
