Our work includes save the dates, invitations suites, venue sketches, custom monograms, event programs, event signage, table decor, place cards, escort cards, seating charts, menus, and more. At Honest Type, we love to explore new creative projects! If you have something particular in mind, we'd love to explore the possibility of making that dream a reality. _ Our Story: Honest Type is a calligraphy business founded by calligrapher, Jacinta, an Aussie living in Los Angeles with her husband and their playful cat, Cali. “My mornings always start with coffee and great music, and from there, every day is an adventure of its own — I love calligraphy because each project I have the privilege of creating is individually unique and holds a special place in the lives of my clients.” Jacinta discovered calligraphy and hand-lettering after moving to Los Angeles. With free time now open for her to explore, Jacinta decided to try a calligraphy starter-kit a friend had gifted as a going-away present. As her love for the art form began to flourish, Honest Type was born. “I’m a self-starter at heart, and as I began to genuinely explore the art form, showcasing my work and trying new letterforms brought me more joy and life than I initially comprehended. Soon enough, I was creating fresh and amazing projects for a variety of new clients I felt passionate about working with. It really was such an exhilarating way to realize that this was very quickly becoming a brand new personal career-path (and all the more fulfilling to have a unique, daily opportunity to bring my clients’ artistic visions to life.)” Founded in Los Angeles, Honest Type is privileged to work with businesses, event planners, entertainment industry professionals & producers, wedding planners, brides & their grooms, and so many more in Southern California and abroad.
