House of Jeanne Flowers

House of Jeanne is the name of the house where I grew up in South-West France. I heard about the numerous sorts of garden roses and irises that might be grown there, perched on top of a hill among the scent of wild jasmine. One may see works in progress, drawings, pastels, inks, and brushes at my mother's artist studio, which is nestled in the heart of the flower garden. The mix of these kinds of inspiration is what motivates me to create: my arrangements are heavily influenced by unique color palettes, shape, and the natural movement seen in the garden, much like creative moments of color juxtaposition and composition. Flowers are a logical outgrowth of my prior profession in high-end hospitality and event planning, where I was driven to create beautiful moments in time by a passion for things art of the table and entertaining. Now, using flowers, I wish to add beauty to your celebration and assist you in creating long-lasting memories. Celia Laurent is the owner and designer of House of Jeanne Flowers, a floral business specializing in weddings, parties, and hospitality in the Washington, D.C. region. She is the daughter of a painter and a father who grew garden roses as a pastime. Celia has a history in hospitality and special event management, having worked over a decade planning weddings and special events for high-profile clients such as Christie's, Martha Stewart, Louis Vuitton, and DeBeers in New York City and Washington, D.C. She and her husband, Chef Eric Ziebold, have made Washington, D.C. their home. Kinship and Metier, two restaurants in the centre of the city, debuted in 2015 in a charming ancient building. Celia began organizing the floral decor of the restaurants there, and her passion for flowers blossomed quickly. She currently provides full floral arrangements for private events, weddings, hospitality locations, and private clientele in-house. Nature and its motions, as well as art, particularly color and arrangement, inspire Celia. Her work is inspired by the garden and the changing seasons, and she favors rich, flowing designs.
