My vision began in the early 2000s when I was learning about NYC nightlife. Spinning at clubs and experiencing every kind of music scene I could find. It was a truly special environment in NYC. There was a particular freedom to vibe, have fun, and just be myself. On the heels of having performed at a book party, a guest asked if I could spin at their wedding. The rest is history. Thanks to some valuable mentors, I had learned how to style the perfect playlist and adopt my own professional approach to events. As I spun at more events my confidence grew and I had applied the lessons that I had learned. I now use them to bring beauty, cohesiveness, and joy to others. From that point forward I vowed to keep breaking the stigma that DJs are cheesy. Eventually that enabled to me to create June Events. A modern, impeccable, down-to-earth collective of sound stylists. Each of my Sound Stylists are handpicked by me from a number of unique backgrounds and include at least five years of experience. In fact, several began spinning since their early teens! What we all have in common is we consider music part of our DNA and deeply ingrained into our everyday life. An important aspect of our job is to match you with your ideal Sound Stylist. This preserves your individual style and mood which allows us to bring your vision to life. Our crew is accustomed to all kinds of events and celebrations, plus we love to come up with creative solutions to any challenge. We’re not here to change you, we will support you in having the kind of event you have envisioned and will share our experience to help you make it possible. Our sense of being detail-oriented sets us apart and our collaborative approach is the way we will create an event soundtrack that you’ll love.
