- How would you describe your photography style?
- My photography style blends candid and artistic imagery with a documentary approach, capturing genuine emotions using a vintage twist on true-to-life colors to create a romantic, timeless feel
- What is your approach to weddings?
- To best tell your story, I prompt you to bring out your unscripted romantic moments and conversely I coordinate your families and wedding party for natural, cohesive shots-while aiming to get you to cocktail hour on time! You can expect playful sarcasm, laughs, and a relaxed, fun experience.
- What event photography services do you offer?
- Customized Wedding Collections Proposals Rehearsal Dinners Engagements Corporate Events 35mm Film Content Creation Drone (certification coming soon!)
- Do you charge for travel?
- There is no charge for travel within Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Like Slip77 - I'm "localish" in that I have family that I often stay with. Nantucket may require travel charges based on timing of the event or session. Additionally, there is no charge within 90 minutes of Hartford, Connecticut.
- How long have you been a photographer?
- I've been drawn to photography since I was in diapers—literally! Professionally, I captured my first wedding in 2014 and launched Katherine Donovan Photography in 2017.

Owner/Lead PhotographerKatherine Donovan was born & raised in New England and therefore cherishes diverse landscapes—from serene beaches and lush farms to vibrant wildflower fields and breathtaking fall foliage. A lifelong photography enthusiast with wedding experience since 2014, she founded Katherine Donovan Photography in 2017. Inspired by early camera adventures, she captures each couple’s unique vision with professionalism, playful sarcasm, fun and lightheartedness for a memorable experience.
