Kelsey Malie Calligraphy

I am a calligrapher and stationery designer with no formal training and I currently reside in Seattle, Washington. When I started planning my own wedding in 2015, I fell in love with fine paper and calligraphy at the same time. I am the mother of Jack, the wife of a doctor who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and the owner of two cats who make a lot of noise (one tabby and one Maine Coon). I adore delicious beer and wine, especially hazy IPAs, as well as local cuisine, going on hikes, and the winter holidays. Love is at the center of weddings. I believe that your love story can be translated into heirloom-quality, individualized paper goods that speak to you and those who are most important to you. But I don't think that your lovely paper needs to come at the expense of our natural resources in any way. I am dedicated to cutting down on the waste that I produce and the carbon emissions that I make while still providing you with the ideal paper suite for your big day. Please keep the following in mind when working with me: For invitation suites and the majority of day-of design, I use paper that is made entirely of cotton. Recycled cotton fibers from the textile industry are used in the production of cotton paper. This paper does not come from trees! My deliveries to you produce no greenhouse gas emissions. This means that if I ship your items using UPS, UPS will, in turn, support projects that offset the emissions caused by the transportation of the shipment. The materials that I use for packaging are always recyclable—even the packing tape—and now the pretty bags that you use to keep your invitations safe can be composted.
