About Kim Silverstein Photography
Founded in 2011
I am an accomplished wedding and event photographer based in Los Angeles, documenting life's most joyful occasions. I am available to shoot all over Southern California. For couples who want their wedding day to be remembered by more than formal posed photos, I notice all of the joyful details and emotions so you can stay present. My photojournalistic wedding photography approach is focused on candid, heartfelt images by blending into the celebration and documenting the authentic experiences and interactions that make your wedding special. It's important that I take the time to get to know you and the people you'll be including on your wedding day ahead of time. This way, your photography experience will feel totally customized to you. My goal is always to blend right in so that I can tell your story in the most genuine way possible. I thrive when documenting intimate weddings, nontraditional stories, queer love, and older couples finding love again. If your celebration feels a little different than the "norm" — you're in the right place!

FAQs 6
- How long have you been a photographer?
- I have been in business since 2011, but I have always been the designated photographer for my family and friends, going back to high school!
- What is your pricing?
- Bar/Bat/B'nai Mitzvah photography begins at $3000 and includes family portraits and party coverage.
- Can I order albums and other photography items from you?
- Yes! I love working with clients to design high-quality albums that tell a beautiful story of the event. I use professional-grade printing and materials to create a treasured keepsake. Prints - framed or unframed - are also available.
- What is your approach to working with clients?
- I take the time to get to know my clients so when I show up on the day of the event it feels like we've been friends forever. This is important when working with teens because I know how awkward the age can be and they're under a lot of pressure as the center of attention for their big day!
- How would you describe your event photography style?
- I try to seamlessly blend into your event so I can capture candid moments - I am always scanning the room to spot something special! When doing posed photos, I strive to make my subjects feel natural and relaxed - no forced smiles or saying cheese!
